Mikrolimni

Mikrolimni on the shore of Little Prespa is an ideal place for relaxation, with options for fishing, touring and observation of the beautiful nature of the area!

On the shore of Little Prespa, 40km from Florina and 48km from Kastoria, the village Mikrolimni is found, a beautiful lakeside settlement that is ideal for touring, fishing and nature observation. Mikrolimni is built at an altitude of approxiamtely 850m, it has about 70 inhabitants, whose main occupation is agriculture (bean cultivation), fishing and to a lesser extent animal husbandry. In the surrounding area there are mixed forests of beech, hornbeam, oak and juniper.

From Mikrolimni, the largest colony of cormorants in Vidronisi is observable. In the settlement there is the church of St. Athanasios, while on the Oxia - Mikrolimni road there is the church of St. Paraskevi, in which a wooden painted iconostasis is preserved.
